The Ella App is a 6 week education programme that teaches you how to manage chronic pelvic pain symptoms from home with evidence-based practical tools available at your fingertips. Developed by experts, the Ella App helps you learn how to address two important drivers of chronic pelvic pain: pain system hypersensitivity and nervous system dysregulation. The Ella App uses a proven approach to chronic pelvic pain symptoms. Our in person programme demonstrated a clinically significant improvement in pain intensity in over 80% of participants 3 months post completion of the programme.* This is where the Ella App was born. So how does it work? The Ella App will give you an up-to-date understanding of pain science and what is actually going on when you experience ongoing pelvic pain. Through a series of cognitive-behavioural therapy techniques, meditations, movement sessions and guided breath work you will learn how to calm your nervous system and address a hypersensitive pain system. Studies have shown up to 75% of women with chronic pelvic pain have pain system hypersensitivity. These are the changes in our brain and nervous system that occur when we experience ongoing pain. The good news is these changes can be reversed through a process called neuroplasticity.
