Som hjerteløber kan du redde liv. Som hjerteløber melder du dig frivilligt til at løbe ud med en hjertestarter og yde livreddende førstehjælp, hvis der sker et hjertestop i nærheden af dig. Du tilmelder dig og modtager alarmer via TrygFondens hjerteløber-app'en, som du downloader her. Du skal være 18 år og i stand til at yde hjerte-lunge-redning for at tilmelde dig som hjerteløber. Som hjerteløber er du en ekstra ressource til ambulance og det øvrige akutberedskab. Det er 1-1-2 Alarmcentralen, der automatisk sender dig afsted via app'en, hvis der sker et hjertestop i nærheden af, hvor du befinder dig. Under en alarm anvender hjerteløber-app'en kontinuerligt GPS-positionering, som kan mindske batteritiden.
