De Berichtenbox app is alleen te gebruiken in combinatie met de DigiD app. De DigiD app moet op het zelfde apparaat staan en u gebruikt de pincode van de DigD app om de Berichtenbox app te openen. Met de app heeft u toegang tot de inbox, archief en prullenbak van uw Berichtenbox op MijnOverheid. U kunt berichten lezen en verplaatsen naar het archief of prullenbak. Als een bericht een bijlage heeft kunt u deze doorsturen, opslaan of openen in een andere app. In de app ziet u welke nieuwe organisaties van de Berichtenbox gebruik zijn gaan maken en u kunt aangeven of deze organisaties post digitaal naar u mogen versturen. Momenteel is het nog niet mogelijk om uw voorkeuren aan te passen voor organisaties die al aangesloten zijn. U kunt hiervoor inloggen op de website van mijn.overheid.nl. GEGEVENSVERWERKING & PRIVACY Als u de Berichtenbox app van MijnOverheid gebruikt worden er bepaalde persoonsgegevens verwerkt. Tijdens het inloggen wordt uw BSN via DigiD naar MijnOverheid verstuurd. Om de gegevens vanuit uw MijnOverheid-account in de Berichtenbox app te tonen wordt een notificatietoken, een gebruikerstoken en een versleuteltoken gebruikt. Door de Berichtenbox app te gebruiken gaat u akkoord met deze verwerking, waar ook de onderstaande bepalingen voor gelden. • De persoonsgegevens van de gebruiker worden verwerkt conform de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming en de privacyverklaring op de website van MijnOverheid (mijn.overheid.nl/privacy). Regels over de verwerking van persoonsgegevens door MijnOverheid zijn opgenomen in het Besluit verwerking persoonsgegevens generieke digitale infrastructuur. Regels over de werking, beveiliging en betrouwbaarheid van MijnOverheid zijn opgenomen in de Regeling voorzieningen GDI (mijn.overheid.nl/wet-en-regelgeving). • MijnOverheid (onderdeel van Logius) heeft passende technische en organisatorische beveiligingsmaatregelen getroffen tegen verlies of onrechtmatige verwerking van de persoonsgegevens van de gebruiker. • De Berichtenbox app voldoet aan beveiligingsmaatregelen die vergelijkbaar zijn met de beveiligingsmaatregelen van de website van MijnOverheid. Ook maakt de Berichtenbox app gebruik van de veiligheidsmechanismen van het besturingssysteem. • De gebruiker is zelf verantwoordelijk voor de beveiliging van zijn mobiele apparaat. • Voor de Berichtenbox app kunnen zo nu en dan updates via de app-store worden gedownload en geïnstalleerd. Deze updates zijn bedoeld om de Berichtenbox app te verbeteren, uit te breiden of verder te ontwikkelen en kunnen bestaan uit oplossingen voor programmafouten, geavanceerde functies, nieuwe softwaremodules of volledige nieuwe versies. Zonder deze updates is het mogelijk dat de Berichtenbox app niet of niet behoorlijk functioneert. • MijnOverheid (onderdeel van Logius) behoudt zich het recht voor zonder opgaaf van redenen het aanbieden van de Berichtenbox app in de app-store of de werking van de Berichtenbox app (tijdelijk) stop te zetten.
